Costs and insurance<\/h2>\n

Private appointments are paid for directly after the appointment \u2013 without any prescriptions, invoices to pay at the reception desk, or waiting for a free spot. This makes physiotherapy for self-payers in Zurich particularly straightforward: you decide when and how often you want to schedule an appointment, and you pay CHF 85 per 30 minutes or CHF 170 per hour.<\/p>\n

Basic health insurance generally only covers physiotherapy with a doctor's prescription. However, some supplementary insurance policies do participate in prevention and training programs \u2013 you should ask your insurance provider directly whether this is the case with you as well.<\/p>\n
