Do I need to be referred by a doctor?

Yes. Physical therapists cannot treat without a referral from a physician. Unless you have already received treatment. However, health insurance companies require a doctor's referral before they will authorize coverage.

How often do I have to come for treatment?

The number of treatments varies depending on the problem and the person. After a thorough assessment, the physical therapist will discuss his treatment plan for the rehabilitation process with you. As a rule, the doctor will first prescribe you nine therapy sessions.

What should I wear during my treatment?

When we treat your feet, you will only be asked to take off shoes and stockings. Possibly, the problems can also come from the hips. However, if we are treating your spine, it would be appropriate to dress comfortably and athletically or even wear or bring shorts. This way we are prepared for the therapy and all exercises.
