(FAQ) Homework
Homework in physiotherapy is an integral part of the treatment plan and contributes significantly to improving your health and quality of life. Your active engagement and regular exercise practice at home are crucial to the success of your therapy.
FAQ Physiotherapy homework
Homework in the form of exercises is crucial to maximize the success of therapy. They help to consolidate and accelerate the progress made during physiotherapy sessions.
Regular exercises at home support the healing process, improve mobility, strengthen the muscles and prevent relapses. They help you to take responsibility for your own health.
Your physiotherapist will create a customized exercise plan based on your individual needs and goals. These exercises are designed to complement the sessions and effectively support the treatment.
If you have any problems with the exercises, please contact your physiotherapist. They can make adjustments or recommend alternative exercises. It is important that you feel comfortable and safe when performing the exercises.
While the physiotherapy sessions alone can bring improvements, the homework accelerates the process and ensures more sustainable results. Without this homework, progress may be slower or less sustainable.
The frequency and duration of the exercises will vary depending on your specific treatment plan. Your physiotherapist will give you precise instructions on how often and for how long you should perform the exercises.
