How quickly can I get an appointment?

We endeavor to offer you an appointment as quickly as possible. In the case of acute complaints, we will try to offer you a suitable appointment within a few days. Our reception will be happy to help you make an appointment.

How do I arrange a treatment with you?

You can book by phone at 044 585 99 49 or with the form on the contact page. Alternatively, you can also use the quick and easy online booking page.

Do you offer home visits?

We also offer physiotherapy home visits if required. in the Höngg and Wipkingen area. Contact us for more information and to check whether this is an option for you. Mobile physiotherapy and domiciliary treatment are particularly suitable for people who are unable to come to our practice due to mobility issues.

How can I cancel a scheduled appointment?

Write us an e-mail or give us a call on 044 585 99 49. In the meantime, you can also book in the Appointment e-mail cancel the physiotherapy. Please note that you must 24 hours cancel before the appointment, otherwise we will have to charge the appointment privately.

What do I need to bring to the treatment?

Be prepared to provide your medical or surgical history. If relevant, also your X-ray and MRI/CT images. If possible, come in comfortable clothing and bring your health insurance card.

Do I need to be referred by a doctor?

Yes. Physical therapists cannot treat without a referral from a physician. Unless you have already received treatment. However, health insurance companies require a doctor's referral before they will authorize coverage.

How often do I have to come for treatment?

The number of treatments varies depending on the problem and the person. After a thorough assessment, the physical therapist will discuss his treatment plan for the rehabilitation process with you. As a rule, the doctor will first prescribe you nine therapy sessions.

What should I wear during my treatment?

When we treat your feet, you will only be asked to take off shoes and stockings. Possibly, the problems can also come from the hips. However, if we are treating your spine, it would be appropriate to dress comfortably and athletically or even wear or bring shorts. This way we are prepared for the therapy and all exercises.

What is a physiotherapist ?

How long will I need physical therapy?

The length of treatment depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your medical history and other factors.  Re-evaluations of your current condition will always be performed to assess your progress. Through consultation with your physician, we will ensure that you attain your treatment goals as quickly as possible.

Does physiotherapy help with my pain?

What is the difference between classic massage and lymphatic drainage?

The classic massage aims to loosen the muscles, improve circulation and generally relax the body. Lymphatic drainage, on the other hand, promotes lymph flow and is particularly helpful for oedema and swelling. Both methods have specific areas of application and are used depending on the therapeutic goal.

How does homework fit into my treatment plan?

What happens if I have difficulty doing the exercises at home?
