Private appointments are paid for directly after the appointment – without any prescriptions, invoices to pay at the reception desk, or waiting for a free spot. This makes physiotherapy for self-payers in Zurich particularly straightforward: you decide when and how often you want to schedule an appointment, and you pay CHF 85 per 30 minutes or CHF 170 per hour.
Basic health insurance generally only covers physiotherapy with a doctor's prescription. However, some supplementary insurance policies do participate in prevention and training programs – you should ask your insurance provider directly whether this is the case with you as well.

For private appointments, I keep fixed time slots available, usually within a few days – often much faster than with a regular in-person appointment.
Can I cancel?
Yes, up to 24 hours in advance it is free. After that we charge CHF 85, as the reserved appointment is no longer available for other patients.
